Dearest Salgado cousins, nieces, nephews & "apos"---
It was with a heavy heart and deep sadness when we heard of YNOT'spassing... I just wished I took time to visit him in NY when we werethere last year in Boston visiting my sisters Espie & Marisu. But, I doremember the nice memories of his "boarding" at our Gilmore house and meATING GING (the eldest, surely bonded with him. I was a ganglingteenager and he always made me feel important and mature. I can stillpicture him in his tight pants and his Elvis swaying and pretend guitarsinging. The real last time I was able to really talk and visit withhim longer was in MANILA at Ating C.'s house when he had lunch w/ us atthe Phil. Stock Exchange (I think). I felt envious about his many kidsand so proud of his accomplishments in different fields--away from MIT(Mapua) Engineering to Banking & Finance & then later on Pensions. Pls. extend our condolence to everyone of my cousins and to all the hugeSalgado clan--- what happened to your ??? Our Chicagoserver hosted your site many years ago and now nobody is monitoring itand needs updating and corrections to the GARCIA FAMILY TREE; whichbrings me to reiterate and repear the request to have a HUGE GARCIAREUNION somewhere in NY next year 2009 or 2010. Our Dad (Tito Manoling)& Tita Ene are the only ones left of the original siblings and ourcousins should really meet each other. I knoe this can be difficult butfor starters, can we get together on FACEBOOK and update all thehappenings? It was indeed so sad to hear of the sudden loss of DITAS DEGUZMAN KIDDER--that was quite shocking to me. Even if we are so many miles away, you are all in our thoughts andprayers, much love from Pitogo, Quezon....God bless and pls. extend sameand share w/ your Mom Ester and StepMom and siblings. Take care and
A blessed Christmas and 2009 to all,
:(Ging and Vince "aka" Marty Martinez)
